Vistara passes IATA safety audit

The Indian airline Vistara passed the  IATA Operational Safety Audit (IOSA).

The airline was founded as a a joint venture between the Indian company Tata Sons and Singapore Airlines It commenced operations in 2015.

The fleet currently consists of thirteen Airbus A320’s and three Airbus A320neo’s, used to serve 21 cities in India.

The IOSA programme is an evaluation system designed to assess the operational management and control systems of an airline. IOSA uses internationally recognised quality audit principles and is designed to conduct audits in a standardized and consistent manner.
