MP raises Trivandrum airport issue in Lok Sabha

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: N K Premachandran, MP, has urged the central government to look into the issues faced by the Thiruvananthapuram airport and the allegations against Air India, the national career. While speaking in the Lok Sabha, he raised the issue of the CBI raid at the airport and on reports that the CBI had found misappropriation of funds worth Rs 14 crore.

While participating in the discussion on the air carriage bill of the civil aviation ministry, he said he would be submitting a detailed memorandum to the civil aviation ministry regarding the incidents that have taken place at the airport and that the ministry should conduct a detailed probe to find out the actual reasons behind it.
