Air India and Ethiopian Airlines wings collided at Delhi IGI airport, DGCA probing the incident

New Delhi: A possible disaster was averted after wings of Ethiopian Airlines and Air India collided on Tuesday at Delhi’s IGI Airport. The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) is probing the incident. Ethiopian Airlines referring to the incident said, “We flew substitute aircraft to continue with flight service for valued customers. Apologize to passengers on the flight. In a similar incident, earlier in April this year, the Air India and Indigo flights came face to face on the runway. The mishap was averted due to a timely alert from the Air Traffic Controller (ATC).
